The Silver Sponsors

TASCforce is proud to be a sponsor of the Towpath 50 event because we want to celebrate the success of the Ohio & Erie Canalway Coalition in building the Towpath Trail.  We hope to emulate this success as TASCforce itself is a newly formed, volunteer, non-profit organization.  TASCforce is committed to garnering public support for multi-purpose trails in Summit County.  Our initial focus is on an opportunity known as the Veterans Trail.  I have attached a presentation that provides details about this project.  It will run on an abandoned railroad right of way through five communities in Summit County.  With permission, we would like to pass out informational flyers at the Towpath 50 event and encourage attendees to support this initiative by signing an online petition.

Eighty-Three Brewery is the longtime dream of local brewer Chris Surak. Together with his wife Stephanie, and their friends and family, Chris is bringing his beer creations to the public from the historic former Goodyear headquarters in Akron's East End neighborhood. The space and the beer are a modern take on the classical: clean and bright, but familiar. The Suraks are excited to be a part of the revitalization and redevelopment efforts in Akron, and look forward to finding ways to give back to the community. In addition to a small selection of local wines, Eighty-Three Brewery serves the beer brewed on-site in the 7-barrel system as flights of four and pours of 5, 12, and 16 ounces. Whether it’s a perfectly hopped IPA, or a tart and refreshing sour, Chris is striving to do one thing: make good beer.
